The Red Dreaded one: Akasan

First off I consider Akasan a very brave man. As he left America and went to Japan without a job in line for him even though he has a lot of things that the Japanese would use against him. Akasan is a black guy with red dipped dreads, that's someone not a lot of Japanese companies would be rushing in line to hire, but they should as Akasan demonstrates a lot of characteristics that would be desirable to many companies.

He has strong work ethic, doing his best to upload several videos a day.

Consistency

Leadership - as Akasan brought the big four of the reaction world together.

As I write this post, Akasan has reached 53, 038 subscribers (+1 because I subscribed). I wonder why when his fellow members of the reactor family have a lot more.

The Reel Rejects: 306, 057
Tyrone Magnus: 580, 320
Gattor Martin: 181, 210

But despite the numbers, it doesn't seem like it affects Akasan as he keeps releasing more quality material without seeming like he is just doing it for the subscribers. That is one thing that impressed me about Akasan.
Let's get the show rolling

-

When I first saw Akasan I thought it was a cranky Tech N9ne(a rapper). Although I still think he looks like Tech N9ne,  he has grown on me and appears to be a very funny. He has a lot of solid points for any criticism that he makes and he is even honest about his biases.

There is a lot of dislike of Reactors, I see them as critics who speak their mind and sometimes get flack for it. He is Youtube's Roger Ebert, I believe companies should allow reactors like Akasan and his reactor to review their films. I don't think that the big companies actually realize how many people actually follow and listen to these Youtubers. Look at Pewdiepie, a man who got rich by filming himself playing video games but when someone films themselves and critiques what they see is a bad person? Seems like a grave injustice to me.

Akasan takes the time to answer fan questions, he is not afraid to get personal with his viewers, and will interact with his fellow reactors. Good job Akasan!

If you would like to learn a little more about Japan from a different perspective, Akasan also shoots videos about Japanese topics, filming himself at a Japanese rental store. He always makes his videos interesting and can react to some very personal topics.

This blog is meant to promote good natured media and I chose Akasan after carefully watching his videos.
I will be providing links to my favorite video's of his and if you like what you watch then please do subscribe to Akasans channel.
