Texan in Tokyo

I read a few articles on her blog a year ago and recently discovered that she had a YouTube Channel. The channel features Grace (The Texan) and her Japanese husband Ryosuke.  It's a really nice channel if you are interested in Japan, and/or interracial relationships. They have a lot of Vlogs, videos about Japanese food, snacks, cafes, even how to self-publish your own comic books. The couple is cute together and they have a lot of fu. You can tell this by simply watching on the videos that features both of them.

Texan in Tokyo

TheAdviseShowTV

I learned about this channel a while ago, it is a very interesting one to me. It's basically one man reacting and bringing attention to certain media cases like a savage thug shooting a college student in the head for no good reason, R.Kelly walking out of an interview, a football player sacrificing himself to protect 3 women, etc. This channel does not shy away from any subject, which I greatly appreciate. The more videos I watch, the more this channel becomes one of my favorites. The host is straight forward and keeps it real. He speaks his mind and doesn't care about the backlash. I've read a few comments on their videos, and they usually do get a few ignorant people or a few racists. But that's YouTube, most channels do get that kind of hate. I'm glad that the host took the time to shoot a video talking about it and the channel's plan to improve.

If you are interested in news and other pieces of media then be sure to check out The Advise Show TV

Roan Lee - Some like it hot - A singing channel

I just learned about this girl, she is so talented. This is a music/vlog channel that is always interesting. The videos of her singing have more than one million views each yet she only has 448, 458 subscribers. Roan is quite passionate about her singing and you can tell as she sings into her mic. With a voice like hers, it's nice to close your eyes and simply listen to the music. She is beautiful but if you close your eyes you can probably see scenes from the anime songs she sings.

She can sing in different styles which is always nice and has fun doing it.

Sit back and listen to her song:

Jubilee Project - When I Grow Up

Honestly, this video is so freaking cute. The little girl in the video is adorable and the overall video is beautiful. Good single mothers are not really showcased a whole lot (mostly in a bad way) she is was enjoyable to see this videos as I know a lot of single mothers. Despite the light-hearted feel to it, the film has a lot to say and leaves you feeling something.

K Food - WebDrama

Just found this channel it's mainly about Korean food but it also features a webdrama on its channel. The videos are well done and kind of cute. Each episode of the drama is about 15 minutes or more. The channel has a little over 3 thousand subscribers, which is understandable as most of their videos are short and they haven't been on YouTube for that long. It also features a web comic series as well, it looks quite interesting.

K-Food

Art Sketchbook

This is a nice channel if you would like to see some artwork and listen to a man talking about art. One of his videos shows him going to London and people sketching He then shows the drawings and explains the sketches. It's a quite interesting perspective, I suggest this blog to artists.

Art Sketchbook

Sophie Chan - Art Vlog

Sophie-chan is another artist whose work is influenced by manga. She also has a lot of talented and is quite skilled in choosing what videos to upload. A few of videos have over a million views, but most of them have between 20, 000 to 300,000 views. Which is quite good I'm sure for an art based blog. Her channel features videos on how to draw Naruto, drawing male manga characters, how to use Manga Studio, and much more. She is a highly creative artist and it is quite enjoyable to watch her videos.

Sophie-chan

Hoshino Arashi - Art Blog

Hoshino is a great artist, she does have a deviantart account as well. She is a mangaka with exceptional skill. She is a true artist, she never stops learning and has developed her own style of art. Her channel features videos of how to color manga, how to use copic markers, how to clean your own manga, painting manga in watercolor, and much more. What's cool about her channel is for the fact she doesn't rush, has long videos on the subjects she chooses.

Suli Breaks - Parents are the hardest to please

Another spoken word video from the incredible poet Suli Breaks. This poem really hits home because my parents and grandparents don't understand a single thing about the educational system. Most parents don't in this modern age and then they don't realise that there are other paths in life now. You don't have to go to college to make it in life. Look at Steve Jobs, Kobe Bryant, Bill Gates, Albert Einstein, and many more successful people did not graduate from college. All those people have one thing in common and that is the passion to do what they want to do.

Parent's are the hardest to please

Evan Carmichael - Have a game plan - Dana White

Dana White is the president of UFC, even if you don't like him or have never heard about him. The man has a lot to say and has a lot of experience so maybe should lend our ears for a few minutes. The video is basically about having a game plan when starting anything and to be yourself. He is a cool man, he knows what he is talking about. Especially since his company is basically the Disney of the MMA world.

Evan and his friend have a lot more interesting stuff to say too. His friend is a photographer, so he talks about committing to this field and learning how to be himself. So this video is quite educational.

Awkward Artist - I Don't Know what to do with my life

Awkward Artist is actually quite funny and a good artist. This video is a vlog about how she is in college and doesn't know what to do with her life. She knows she wants to be an artist but doesn't know which kind of art she wants to do. I could relate so much to her, I also was an animation major then switched to graphic design and now to another major. It's quite confusing especially with the high cost of college and the high unemployment in the United States.

This is a great video for people who are feeling alone and need someone to relate to.

Evan Carmichael - Play for yourself LeBron James

Another good video from Evan Carmichael, it features an interview that LeBron James gave to some reporter. The interview is a few seconds long, but it has a good message. The rest of the video is Evan Carmichael talking to us about the subject matter. He has a lot of good stuff to say and a lot more of us need to listen more to people like this.

Play For Yourself

Evan Carmichael - Denzel Washington's top 10 rules for success

A great video for people that need to be inspired. Denzel Washington is a famous American actor who has a lot of good stuff to say. In this video, Evan put together the top 10 rules of success given by Denzel Washington. It features Denzel in interviews and giving speeches. He has been in Hollywood for so long, so even if you don't like his movies you have to respect the fact that he has been doing it for long.

This video is directed more towards artists but its useful to everyone.

Bootihole -Someone Like You

A very cute video about missing someone one. Bootihole doesn't sing but uses a very good song in this video. A lot of people can relate to this video. I enjoy the subject matter of his videos, I only wish that he would make more of them.

Bootihole is currently at 56 thousand subscribers, be sure to show him more love.

Amy and Ellen - Seasons

Also another Amy and Ellen video, this time, its "Seasons". Which is a lyric video, so yes you might have to read. Really? No, you can just listen to their voices. I like this duo, their voices go well together and I like their subject matter. Plus their lyrics are actually very good compared to the industry standard.

Currently, Seasons only has  1 thousand views, so please check it out and support the ladies.

Lindsey Stirling - Take Flight

Back again with another Lindsey Sterling video. This one seems perfect for the holidays. The music seems to haunt you in a good way, it has a nice beat that you can simply enjoy listening to.

Can't say too much as I'm sure a lot of people know about Lindsey Stirling, especially if they have been on YouTube for a long time.

Evan Carmichael - Career Advice - I'm lost

I watched this video a long time ago and I was trying to find it yesterday. After searching for inspirational channels, I was able to find this video. Like  a lot of people, I've been lost a lot in my life and I needed some support. I never really got it, even now I am kind of lost. I am trying to do all kinds of things from co-writing scripts to starting a YouTube channel. My goal is to not live a life that I hate, I don't want to live for the night after work or living for my weekend which is stated in the video.

Being lost is a very scary thing, Evan Carmichael's video really helped me. I enjoyed it so much and it's still great after the second watch. There needs to be more people like Evan, despite his great videos he has 167 thousand subscribers. If you need some help in life be sure to see Evan's channel and do it with an open mind.

Tedx Talks - 5 Techniques to speak any language by Sid Efromovich

Like a lot of people I struggle with learning how to speak another language. I know some basic words in German, Italian, French, Japanese, Russian, and Malay. I have a beginners understanding of Korean and medium amount of skill in Spanish. Currently, Korean is the language I spend time learning and I need a whole lot of help with it. Because the language is so vastly different than my native language of English.

I am a fan of Ted Talks as I always learn something from the videos. I really appreciate what the company does and some of the people they feature are truly amazing. They have videos for all kinds of people. For musicians, artists, magicians, filmmakers, etc. There is a video from Ted Talks that is something in your field of interests.

So in the video Sid is not bad, he is interesting and has some great things to share. In a day in age where we need to learn more than one language sometimes more than one more. I think this is a great video to watch.

Big Think - Advice to Artists During a Crisis by Chuck Close

Just discovered this channel and it seems to be a great find. It's a very intellectual channel that may inspire you to seek more Knowledge. This is a great video for artists of all kinds, as the interviewee is the famous artist Chuck Close. If you have ever been to art school, you know who this artist is. He gives some great advice on how artists can survive a crisis.

Twelve365 - Living in South Korea: A Day In the Life

I forgot about this channel as I used to watch their videos before I started to get really interested in the website. It's a shame, as it is a very helpful channel if you interested in teaching English in a foreign country or would like to learn how life is for English teachers in South Korea. It's a truly wonderful video if you are interested in the Korean culture, want to become an English teacher, etc.
There is not much I can say about this channel so just check out the link I provide you.

VlogBrothers - What to do with your life

John of the VlogBrothers is one of the most famousYoutubers around. I enjoy his style of videos and I'm glad he takes the time to answer questions from his fans. In this video, he talks about tips on how to live your life and figure out what you want to do with it. It is a very good question and he provides some very clever answers.
I tend to stay away from big name channels because they tend to have a lot of success, but I felt like it was right to promote this video.I often question about what I want to do with my life and I have come up with so many options that it is difficult to choose one or two, etc. Check o

Engineered Truth - 2 ways to get experience before getting a job

Now I have known about this channel for quite a while. As I have had problems with school and I didn't know what to do I still don't. I recently decided to just say fuck the school and take whatever classes I want (I have waivers). Engineered Truth helped me on many levels, as the channels feature videos about which majors are "good" and which are "bad" for example he researches the major and will discuss it. Sometimes he will even interview people in the field who majored in a certain degree. His videos are interesting and not boring as one would think. This is a lot of good information on this channel be sure to check it out as it might change your life.

Tyrone Magnus - You Disliked a video about my mom? really?

If you have read this blog then you should know that I am a fan of Tyrone Magnus. A few months ago he shared a video of him visiting his mother's grave and telling us her life story. I loved the video as I never expected him to do something like that. I am a true fan of his, so it's nice to see him get personal with his fans.

Sadly a few people disliked the video and he uploaded a video entitled You Dislike a video about my Mom? Really? . In this video, Tyrone goes to talk about how the video is for his true fans and that he wanted to help his fans understand how to treat trolls. I think he is a strong man for doing this, he is proving that trolls are not affecting him. His advice is to ignore trolls because silence is what truly kills an internet troll. I think this is a great video for Tyrone Magnus fans and for Youtubers who are having difficulty with internet trolls.

The link is above and I will provide the link to Tyrone's channel

BHD Gaming - 5 Important Life Lessons I wished someone had taught me as a Kid

BHD happens to be one of my favorite Youtubers, he is truly entertaining. He can tell some pretty good stories, and make hilarious/inspiring comments. In this video, he talks about the things that he wished he learned as a child. I agree with what he says, I am starting to learn some of the stuff he is talking about. BHD has a few other channels, this is his main channel. This channel features vlogs, game plays, and story times.
You will probably laugh at least once when you watch his videos. Blast is quite insightful about various topics and is entertaining every single time I watch one of his videos. I enjoy hearing his stories as well because they are truly funny. Plus his laughs will make you laugh as well.

DrawingMango97 - Awesome Artist

Just found her site, she is a really talented artist. Her channel features fan art of various animes and mangas. She is able to draw some of the most difficult anime characters that I fail at. Haha, her videos feature music and in the beginning, she lists the supplies she used to make the artwork.

Actually, I just realize that I follow her on DeviantArt. I have to facepalm myself for not realising that she had a Youtube channel. Her DeviantArt account features more art and you can see her style.

Update

Hello, everyone. Just a quick update, I started a twitter account for this blog. I will provide the link at the end of this post.

I would greatly appreciate anyone that chooses to subscribe to the twitter and for anyone who can share this blog with other people in order to spread better media around.

My Twitter

Baylee Jae - Art Channel Manga Influenced

Baylee Jae is a great artist with many tutorials for any aspiring artist to learn from. Her main style is influenced by Manga, so if you like manga then you may want to follow Baylee Jae. As an artist, I appreciate her style and I feel really inspired after watching her videos. Instead of just playing music she talks about why she is doing something in her drawing, her technique and about her life sometimes. She is quite interesting, as her art is good and is not afraid to get personal which is a trait I like in Youtubers.

Her channel features videos like tutorials for drawing manga eyes, inking illustrations, drawing braids, ruffles, etc. Her work is really interesting, so I recommend her channel to artists.

Adina Rivers - Coming out with a Fetish to your partner

I really like watching Adina Rivers, she seems quite intelligent and confident. Instead of running away from some of the craziest questions, she answers without a moment of hesitation. That is really amazing to me, in this video she explains why you should show your desires with your partner. "Let your heart speak" I think this is a problem a lot of people have. Everyone in the world has some kind of sexual fetish, but a lot of people deny this due to fear.

I am an open book, so I openly talk about things that most people will only discuss behind closed doors. I have told a girlfriend about some sexual desires I have, and I felt really good after doing that. So if you have a fetish that you wish to tell your partner about, watching this video might help you work up enough confidence to finally come out with it.

Boyinaband - Don't Stay in School

A lot of people have seen or heard about this video if they are ever on YouTube. Why? Because the man can spit fire and says the truth. Younger people can respect what he says and solely agrees with the man. People like me, fully understand his message, his anger, and his reasons for the video. Forget what he looks like, what he says is the only important matter.

His bars are great, they are filled with very good emotion. Honestly, I believe he is better than almost every rapper in the mainstream world. It's also a video that's just about the song, it doesn't feature unnecessary people or anything else that distracts the watcher from the message.

Check out Boyinabad's Don't Stay in School Video

Also, be sure to subscribe if you like the YouTuber's videos.

Suli Breaks - I Will Not Let an exam result decide my fate- Spoken Word Truth

Hello everyone! I'm back with a new set of videos for you. I have known about this artist for a while. Actually a college teacher showed me a video of his. I was blown away by his remarkable skill in speaking the truth. Now Suli is a spoken word poet who should be more recognised that he is. His words are truly amazing but at the time his delivery is legendary. His technique rivals that of some of the best MCs in the whole world. He doesn't rush things, he knows how to pace. He is a good example of  what a public speaker should be like. IF there were more speakers like Suli then everything would be more interesting. More people would be inspired to speak up and change the world for better not just add more chaotic ramblings.

This is a great video to show parents and students alike. The Don't Stay in School video is quite similar to the message present in Suli's older video I will not let an exam result decide my fate. People here know that I write about good media, if I can help inspire someone with one of these posts then I have succeeded in my purpose for this blog. Suli is a man that I will happily promote, do check out his other spoken word poems present on his channel.

Connie Talbot - I have nothing (Whitney Houston cover)

Connie's voice is really sweet, she will make you want to close your eyes and just let her voice cut its way into your heart. Her voice is powerful, but she does need to grow in some areas. She is no Whitney Houston, but that's fine no one expects her to be. Connie has talent and the world needs to see her talent

Check out Connie Talbot's cover of I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston

Amy and Ellen - Handwritten

Hello, I'm back again with another music based channel. This one is a little different as it features two singers. Amy and Ellen are two singers whose voices match it each other quite well. They are talented songwriters, each song is as interesting as the next. Their voices are nice to listen to late at night or when you just need some time to think.

I learned about these girls a long time ago, as I used to listen to Jason Chen and the girls were featured in a video of his. This song really helped me to get into a better mood and helped me think about the things that I need to do.

Pleasure sure to check out AmyandEllen's Handwritten Video

DavidSoMusic - I miss her cover

I know that DavidSo was a comedian, but I did not know he could actually sing. He has a music channel which I just learned about a few minutes ago. He actually has a good voice, David picked the perfect song to cover it matched his voice well. I am quite amazed by this, be sure to check it out.

DavidSoMusic

Tatiana Manaois -Helplessly

Just found her channel today, there is something about her voice that makes you want to listen. It's kind of hard for me to figure out why but her voice is different than what I am used to. The lyrics for the song work really well with the tone she wants to set. Her control is really good, her acting is good it's not oscar worthy, but it seems quite real. There is nothing forced in this video, I feel like you can see the real her.

This is a good song to listen to when you are sitting alone or newly in love. Be sure to check out iTstatianaM   and her video Helplessly

Arden Cho - With You

Here is a video from a new channel. Arden is a singer who has a really gentle and soothing voice. It's sweet, her lyrics make sense and has a message. It's not like the mainstream stuff that floods the radio. It's something light to listen to when you need something uplifting or you are spending quality time with your lover.

With the style of the song, it makes it more personal. There's no unnecessary sexiness, which I am thankful for. Don't get me wrong, Arden is a beautiful woman. But when I want to listen to a singer or watch a video I want it to be about the voice and the lyrics.

Something nice for a slow night. Listen or watch Arden Cho's With You music video

Jubilee Project - Santa's Present

It's a very cute film that might make you feel something. This video was made by this channel for the sole purpose to remind us that this is the season for giving. Especially now with all the violence and greed that's present in this world. We have to spread happiness rather than desperation and damnation.

The little girl in the video is very cute, her acting is a little better for a child her age. It's only a four-minute video but its worth the watch.

Adina Rivers | My Tiny Secrets - A very hot channel

This channel is about sexual empowerment and it is hosted by the beautiful Adina Rivers. She may appear spacey at first Adina is always interesting, loves what she does, and she actually has a message.

What I mean by a very hot channel, Adina's channel features videos about different sexual topics. From how to shave your pubic hair to why you should love sex. I've only known about her for a little while, but I can honestly say I learn a lot from her channel. There a lot of videos about feminine stuff but there are videos for men as well. Regardless men like me are entertained by this channel. You get to watch a hot girl talk about sexual stuff while being totally confident.

There are a lot of sexual help videos that share how to have better sex and other adult material like that. So if there are sexual questions that you need answered or if you want to learn how to love yourself and your body then be sure to check out her channel.

Talk to me in Korean

This is another channel that I use a lot to learn more Korean. I even have a few books from the channel, they are really helpful and seem to have fun doing what they are doing. Their website is great, it features games, helpful guides, even audio tracks, and much more. I personally recommend this channel if you want to learn more about the Korean language and culture.  The channel features videos like how to order stuff at cafes, how to buy snacks at markets, videos on Korean history, how to work on your pronunciation, and much more.

They actually teamed up with Simon and Martina from Eat Your Kimchi to open a cafe in Seoul, South Korea. The shop is called You Are Here. There is not much more I can say, check this site out and you can actually learn something.

Talk to me in Korean

Simon and Martina - Eat Your Kimchi

I've known about this channel for a while now, Simon and Martina are a married couple from Canada who lived and worked in South Korea. Often Amber from the K-pop group f(x) appears in their videos usually when they  decide to eat strange food that they find in random shops. The channel features videos about food, working in South Korea, going to idol events, concerts, etc. These vloggers bring their own style of comedy which works really well.

They have a lot of stuff to share, don't worry they are not boring like some teachers. They will leave you entertained at all times. This is another channel that you can go to if you are interested in learning more about Korean culture, want interesting videos, or planning to work in South Korea.

Simon and Martina

If anyone from Eat Your Kimchi would like to take down the links I will without question.

Maze + Lee - Korean and African

I found this channel as it was connected to the Blasian family channel. This channel also features a Blasian family but with a slight difference. The husband is Korean while the wife is black, they also have children as well. I haven't checked out all of their videos, only a few, but overall they upload vlogs and talk about different cultures. Few videos featuring American kids eating Korean food, vice versa. This family also has about 20 thousand subscribers.

So if you are interested in multicultural/multiracial families then this is the channel for you.

VI Seconds - Greatest Video Game Rap ever!!!

Vl Seconds brings the fire, it was exciting to hear him rap. This man's bars are simply ruthless, I can see him blowing up in the genre. The rap game needs someone like him, yet he only has  118,000 subscribers. Seconds doesn't just rap about just one game or one series, he raps about so many games like Vice City, Sonic, Mario, Bioshock, Tekken, Devil May Cry, Pokemon, and so many more. He does it so well, you can tell he is a true gamer.

I will have to suggest it to anyone that loves rap and video games. I just discovered him after watching BHD react to this video.

Sweet and Tasty TV

This is a really good channel if you want to know more about Korean culture and the Korean language while being entertained. The channel is hosted by several different characters (played by the same woman) each one is hilarious. It's a fun way to learn about a different culture. Even my Korean teacher referred the channel to us. She does have an introduction  to hangul and she is able to explain it really well. If you are having a hard time with Korean then this channel is for you.

Professor Oh uploads vlogs, food videos, educational videos, Q and A's, and much more. Seriously if you are interested in Korean culture, then do check her out.

Yuji Tamada - Happy Birthday + Surprise Proposal

I first saw this video a year ago, I couldn't find it again but recently re-discovered it. It's not really a channel because there are only 3 videos but this video is really cute. Basically, Yuji surprises his girlfriend on her 26th birthday with a video proposing to her. We get a short look into the love life of these two, it was a really cute experience.

This video is good for men or women who are looking to propose to their partner. Don't worry there are English subtitles, so you don't have to worry about not understanding anything. Even if you don't want to read at all then simply watch the video and you will understand.

If you are wondering, they did get married in 2014 and still going strong.

Check out Yuji's surprise proposal

Blasian Family Channel

The Blasian Family Channel is hosted by Lily a South Korean woman who is married to a black man from Africa and they have two adorable Blasian babies. Lily's channel features vlogs about the family and showcases their life.
It is a really good channel for people in interracial relationships or people that want to learn Korean and be entertained at the same time. Lily makes learning Korean is easy and enjoyable. She only uploads videos about other Korean women who are married to a black man or who want to date black men. It is quite educational as she explains everything and brings out some valid points. I am not a black man well I take that back, I am not a full black man as I am racially mixed. So I actually enjoy learning about this plus I am learning Korean so this channel very interesting to me.

The channel has less than 30 thousand subscribers, so be sure to show the family some love.

Blasian Family

Learn Korean with Lily  She uploaded short videos explaining how to show certain things in Korean. It's really good for people who are just learning the language or for people who want to increase their Korean vocabulary.

Racka Racka - Assassin's Creed Showdown

Critical here, back with another review of Racka Racka. If you are a fan of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series this video might interest you a lot.

The opening is totally hilarious as it shows you what happens when you pretend to be an Assassin by jumping off the roof to try to assassinate someone. If you don't know what Assassin's Creed is, then this video might not make a lot of sense to you. As the guys fight while dressed up as different assassins from the series. Even if you are not a fan, you can still enjoy the totally awesome action packed short film. The film once again makes you wonder who keeps up their mess and who edits their videos because seriously their special effects are amazing and the messes they make are epic.

Jubilee Project - Picture Perfect

Back with another video review of the Jubilee Project, as an aspiring filmmaker this channel is a must. Like I stated before they are truly amazing and tackle all kinds of subject matters. Picture Perfect was able to do so much in just 7 minutes and 22 seconds. The actors were great and so fun to watch.

This is another video I can't review too much since there is a surprise in the video. So to not ruin the film for anyon, please check out the Jubilee's Picture Perfect short film.

Also for some more great short films then check out their channel. JubileeProject.

Olivia Thai - teachme cover

I recently learned about this singer, not only does she has good looks, but she has a good voice. Often her videos feature her playing on her guitar. The way she sings is quite catchy and she does do a lot of covers. Her channel also features vlogs about random things like updates on her personal life and much more.

I really enjoy this singer, so it's bizarre that this channel only has 97 thousand subscribers but her videos have under 20 thousand views. If you are looking to discover another artist to follow then Olivia is the woman for you.

Check out Olivia Thai

Megan Lee - Last Christmas

I really love her voice, especially on this track. The video is simply her playing a guitar with a Christmas tree in the background. The lights on the tree are a little distracting but when you don't pay attention to what she is wearing or what she looks like you can hear her beautiful voice even better. She is a beautiful woman, so that's a plus in anyone's book.

But you should notice her voice first hand as that is the most important part. Megan has talent and its deserves to be shown off more.

The Piano Guys - What Makes You Beautiful

I first took notice of this group after my composer club advisor showed us a clip of them while he was not doing his job. Besides learning how to figure out how to avoid a selfish teacher, I learned of the skill and beauty of the Piano Guys.
This rendition of What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction was excellent. I honestly think its better than the original artists (I'm sure that would make a few fangirls angry at me).

If you are looking for a different way to play the piano then these guys are perfect for you.

Bootihole - Love Language Remake

Another channel that deserves more subscribers is BootiHole who did a remake of Jubilee Project's Love Language video.

This video also features only two actors and takes place on a bench like the original video. This one has a little comedy added to it, but the meaning is still there. The music that was used fit fell with the tone of the video. I thought it was cute and well done.

Check out BootiHole, he normally does comedic videos.

Jubilee Project - #Not the Same

Another video from the inspiring channel Jubilee Project. This video is powerful, it features Americans of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage. It is a really mind opening video even though it is close to being 3 minutes long. This is not a dramatized film, it is an up and close short documentary in a way.

In America, we tend to group together Asians and we enforce stereotypes upon them, but they are not the same. We need to realize this, we need to stop. The only reason these stereotypes exist is because we share them with the next generation. There are so many countries within the demographic of Asian. To just group them together is denying them their heritage and giving them a broad term. No one in Asia really considers themselves Asian, if you know anything about history those Asian countries have their own culture and identity.

In way are the cultures are the same, we need to realize that and inspire to make a difference. I took a class in college called Asian Experience In America and I learned so much. I feel like I am a better American and human for taking that class. It opened up my eyes to the struggle of another kind of American the ones that we tend to forget about.

Jubilee Project - Love Language

I love this channel, I was awestruck during the first video. Which is the video that I am discussing in this post. Jubilee is a film production channel whose main purpose is to inspire change. Which I fully support and I wish to do the same.

In Love Language, we are presented with two characters, a woman and a man. The whole video takes place on a bench. I can't say too much or I will ruin the video. But would like to say that this channel is freaking amazing. The way that are able to bring out emotion in such a short amount of time is inspiring in itself.

Even a trip to their website: http://www.jubileeproject.org/  will show you that these people are the real deal they actually care. I can't believe that their channel only has 257 thousand subscribers when most of their videos have more than one million views. Please support this channel by subscribing and sharing their videos. Spread the message.

Lindsey Stirling - Shatter Me ft Lzzy Hale

Great vocals supported by Lindsey's stunning violin abilities matched with a wonderful performance. The video matches the song quite well, it was entertaining to watch and it feels like her violin is reaching into your heart. If you like to see some pretty inventive violinist then Lindsey is the right artist for you.

Also the vocalist, Lzzy Hale is the lead singer of the band Halestorm. I was a fan of hers prior to this video, so it was a delight to see two of my favorite artists working together.

KenPranksTV - Serving the Homeless

KenPranksTV normally releases prank videos as you can tell by the channel's name. In this video, Ken takes a break from the normally hilarious pranks to pull a kind hearted act when he decides to dress up as a waiter and serve a homeless veteran a turkey dinner.

The sad part is that the video only has 63, 610 views which is pretty low compared to their other videos.

If you like to see a comedic act of kindness then check out the video.

Be sure to subscribe to KenPranksTV.

Racka Racka - Halo vs Call of Duty

Racka Racka is totally amazing, their videos feature some totally badass special effects. Each video will leave you wondering how in the hell were they able to do that and who is going to clean up the mess. I really became interested in this channel after watching a reaction video on BHD's channel.

Racka Racka features videos will movie like quality, I'm sure if these guys did a feature length film it would be totally amazing. In Halo Vs. Call of Duty, the guys witness a fight between the Masterchief and some guy from Call of Duty (I don't play), The fight and effects are amazing,  the comedy is there and not over the top. One thing that everyone can agree upon is that these guys are so freaking entertaining you will want more and more.

The channel features more than 40 videos with each video having more than one million views(except for the newest one which is close to a million anyway). If you like crazy ass entertaining short films then subscribe to this channel.

KT Pranks - Drive By Prank in the Hood

This video is from KT pranks a prank channel operated by BHD's younger brother. It has only 5 uploads so far but if you want a quick laugh then be sure to check out his channel.

This prank features BHD as he is the victim of the prank. His reaction is as hilarious as you would expect, I'm very surprised KT didn't get knocked the fuck out.

The video is a little longer than one minute but provides a lot of comedy within such a short amount of time that you would think that he would make prank videos full time.

BHD - BHD Tribute Reaction

BHD reacts to a tribute that a fan made for him. Not much to say about it but to go to his channel and watch it. Even if you have not seen one of his videos then this make give you a brief look at how BHD works if you are thinking about subscribing to him.

Without a further ado watch BHD's video

Tyrone Magnus - Over Sensitive Men part 2

Tyrone returned with a second part to his over sensitive men video. Like the first one, I agreed with what he said. The video is meant for real men and women not butt hurt people. Tyrone is really good at knowing when to show emotion and the right time to get personal.

He also proves that he reads comments and you can often see his replies to certain comments on his videos. Despite the touchy subject, Tyrone proves that he knows what he is talking about.

BHD - Ask BHD #1 How To Pick Up Girls...

BHD is a hilarious man who has jokes, can play pranks, and keeps it real. In this video, he reads fan questions and replies to them.

Most of the video is him answering the question "how to start a successful YouTube channel". BHD is excellent, he answers the question with great advice. He also answers the question how to pick up girls and how to go on dates.

With his normal humor, he enjoys himself while looking so cold(in his words he is too cheap to turn on the heater).

Without further ado follow the links to the video

Tyrone Magnus - Over Sensitive Men

This video is not a reaction, Tyrone addresses the camera about an important topic. Over sensitive men who need to learn how to be more manly.

Tyrone states that over-sensitive men are men who give women the silent treatment, telling another man to suck his dick when he is angry, and a few other things. He made a lot of good points and backed up everything he said with personal stories.

I agreed with everything that he said, as I do think this kind of a problem. I won't write to much about this video as you should watch it instead to get the full effect.

Tyrone Magnus - You Look Disgusting Reaction!!!

The original video was  sad but at the end was kind of inspirational. Basically, a woman reveals what she looks like without makeup on. All the negative comments people have left on her page, pop up in the video as she puts on makeup while staring at the camera. We can see how cruel some viewers can be.

Tyrone related to the woman as she has an acne problem, after the initial bad expression which he apologized for he gave advice to not only her but to his viewers. "Stay strong" was his message to her and to us. You can tell that Tyrone took it personally and was not afraid to express his emotion or relate to the woman in the video.

Basically, he spoke the truth and left us with an inspiring message.

Tyrone is one of my favorite Youtubers for his videos, his personality, and his willingness to interact with his fans.

Lindsey Stirling: We Found Love Video

Lindsey Stirling is one of the biggest musicians on Youtube and she deserves to be. Once she was told that she would get no more with her violin skills, well she proved the hater wrong and has gotten so far with her musical skills.

We Found Love is a special music video of Stirling's time visiting Africa. She visits an African school for girls and interacts with a lot of people. The vocals (Ventribe) on the song really fit well with the images and Lindsey's violin. You can't but rock your head to the side as you listen to the song.

It's even more powerful if you watch the video and you can see everything that's beautiful with this video. Lindsey is a wonderful human being, a true entertainer, cosplayer and much more. If you are in the need of an uplifting video to watch then watch Lindsey, as she has some fun in Africa.

If by the off chance that Lindsey reads this, I will take this post down without question.

Ryan Higa: The World Without Police

I am going to be doing something slightly different. Instead of doing a review on the general Youtuber, I will be reviewing individual videos of users whom I like.

Today's victim is Ryan Higa aka Nigahiga one of the most famous Youtubers which many hilarious videos. The one I selected is one of his newer ones: The World Without Police.

Ryan is a great comedian with a style that is quite popular today. But within that comedy, his videos are able to deliver a message or simply be entertaining. In the World Without Police, Ryan discusses what it would be like if there were no police and performs a skit.

The skit is not that long, it's entertaining and has real depth. You can tell that this is kind of important to him and he knows how to be serious sometimes while being able to tell a joke at the same time. I agree with what he says in the video and what he shows in the skit. His monologue is great and can be entertaining/powerful.

If Ryan reads this and would like me to take down the post then I will without question.

Whoooooo: Tyrone Magnus

My initial interest in Tyrone's videos were to due to his outgoing personality. I found him to be a very funny guy, who is not afraid to say what he thinks or even get personal with his subscribers (580, 692).

Tyrone is a big time fan of the WWE who hates the character "John Cena" but loves The Rock (who is my favorite WWE superstar of all time). Tyrone was in a segment filmed by NBC where he discussed what a reactor is. Tyrone proved that he was a good man who isn't selfish enough to keep the fame to himself, in the segment they also included videos of his reactor family (Gattor Martin, Akasan, and Reel Rejects). Akasan also commented about this in one of his video's where he reacts to the segment.

He keeps it real all the time, Tyrone is not a hard person to like as he is a really funny dude. His willingness to interact with his fans enables us (viewers) to establish a connection with him. He is a black guy who is open about loving superheroes that is as rare as a black superhero derived from an actual black comic book character, Even dressing up like thor and can be seen in some videos wielding his thor hammer.

He is quite knowledgeable about the subjects he talks about from bullies, vaccines, scientism, etc. If he doesn't know stuff then he looks it up! That's rare and he even admits when he doesn't know/understand something.

When I checked out his live stream chat, while Tyrone was playing a video game the people on the chat were talking about two girls and one cup. Which I found hilarious but seriously people? Why not comment about on the problems of the game or some shit like that.

Don't forget to vote for Tyrone to be the next black marvel superhero! haha

BlastphamousHD TV

Blastphamous HD TV, is different than other reactors as he actually pauses the video to address the viewers then proceed to watch the video. He comments while watching the video as well, he doesn't really hold anything back which I enjoy.

He gets personal, not afraid to film his daily life or tell stories about his life or things that have happened to the people around him. He also kind of promotes a straight edge life as he doesn't drink or do any kind of drugs. Blast even commented on a compilation of dumb shit that high people do. His reaction videos are just the tip on the iceberg, he also streams himself playing video games and even has two other accounts. One just in cause his main channel gets taken down and another one is his prank channel (the pranks are hilarious).

A lot of videos feature important topics or silly shit. But whatever kind of videos he reacts on, his commentary is always hilarious and his laugh is priceless. Sometimes his girlfriend, brother, or his friend Randy. Randy Also has a prank channel, which has some pretty priceless pranks.

Blast's prank channel has at least one new video every week, his pranks are hilarious but cringe worthy sometimes yet that work wonderfully.(except for the victims).

As I first wrote this post he had 494, 577 after a few more days his channel has gotten even more popular now reaching the number of 503, 871 subscribers which is an amazing feat.

If you are looking for a reactor who keeps it real then blast is your man.

I will be providing the link to his channels and a few videos of his I like:

The Red Dreaded one: Akasan

First off I consider Akasan a very brave man. As he left America and went to Japan without a job in line for him even though he has a lot of things that the Japanese would use against him. Akasan is a black guy with red dipped dreads, that's someone not a lot of Japanese companies would be rushing in line to hire, but they should as Akasan demonstrates a lot of characteristics that would be desirable to many companies.

He has strong work ethic, doing his best to upload several videos a day.

Consistency

Leadership - as Akasan brought the big four of the reaction world together.

As I write this post, Akasan has reached 53, 038 subscribers (+1 because I subscribed). I wonder why when his fellow members of the reactor family have a lot more.

The Reel Rejects: 306, 057
Tyrone Magnus: 580, 320
Gattor Martin: 181, 210

But despite the numbers, it doesn't seem like it affects Akasan as he keeps releasing more quality material without seeming like he is just doing it for the subscribers. That is one thing that impressed me about Akasan.
Let's get the show rolling

-

When I first saw Akasan I thought it was a cranky Tech N9ne(a rapper). Although I still think he looks like Tech N9ne,  he has grown on me and appears to be a very funny. He has a lot of solid points for any criticism that he makes and he is even honest about his biases.

There is a lot of dislike of Reactors, I see them as critics who speak their mind and sometimes get flack for it. He is Youtube's Roger Ebert, I believe companies should allow reactors like Akasan and his reactor to review their films. I don't think that the big companies actually realize how many people actually follow and listen to these Youtubers. Look at Pewdiepie, a man who got rich by filming himself playing video games but when someone films themselves and critiques what they see is a bad person? Seems like a grave injustice to me.

Akasan takes the time to answer fan questions, he is not afraid to get personal with his viewers, and will interact with his fellow reactors. Good job Akasan!

If you would like to learn a little more about Japan from a different perspective, Akasan also shoots videos about Japanese topics, filming himself at a Japanese rental store. He always makes his videos interesting and can react to some very personal topics.

This blog is meant to promote good natured media and I chose Akasan after carefully watching his videos.
I will be providing links to my favorite video's of his and if you like what you watch then please do subscribe to Akasans channel.

If there is an old chance that Akasan reads this and has a problem with this blog. I will take down this post without question.

Hello!

The name is D. Critical (may change), why? It's one of the few words that people use when they describe me to someone else. I think it really fits with who I am and what I am going to do with this blog.
Speaking on that Chocolate Milk On My Keyboard will be presented as a blog that focuses on critiques of the media. I am an American from California, my focus will be on American media, but I might be willing to critique media from other countries in the future. For now, I will focus on one nation my nation the pie eating eagle flying USA.

Why? Simple because I am not an expert on other countries media and how they use it. I have grown up here, I've been exposed to American media since birth, in a way I am an expert on it. Well it also helps that I have studied the media through the eyes of multiple cultures thanks to media-based classes that I took in college. I am also multiracial, we can discuss that later. So I understand how certain kinds of media can be hurtful to another culture while attracting praise from a different culture.

I will be reviewing the media without kid gloves, which is how I approach a lot of things. I am assuming most of my reviews will be of videos that I find while bingeing Youtube and Netflix.

Here we go, I hope you all enjoy the ride.
